Unfortunately this sub is full of negativity and cynicism for every MMORPG that exists other than GW2 and WoW. I'm one of the best geared berserkers on NA BDO (over 220ap now) and I've only spent about 140$ in the game on mostly useless stuff like furniture I do wish the game had more meaningful endgame PvE content, but it seems that kamasylve is bringing some of that later in march with its raid system. I ended up swapping away from GW2's WvW and WoW's Mythic+/Mythic raids for BDO's siege system and I'm still enjoying it now almost a year later. BDO is a good game esp if you like grinders. Just Google or look for one in the Black Desert Online-Section of reddit to get one.Ĭheck out this Video of "kilryan" to see what the game is like:Ĭheck out this Video of "TheLazyPeon"to get a better insight of the changes since release: And if you still aren't convinced enough try the game with a test-key. The game costs 10€ and is really worth the money. If you sell it ingame you'll get 20mio which you can get easily while killing Mobs in 2hours or less. You can actually buy costumes with real life money and sell them ingame to get silver, but it's not worth it. Like I already mentioned many complained that the game is P2W. You'll get EXP-boosts on a daily Basis, items you can sell with a lot of Profit, worker contracts, dyes and so on. As a New Player or even as a returning Player you'll get a lot of rewards for start playing now, which will help catching up. Since the game has been released almost a year ago many Players were complaining that you can't catch up to the Players who are already playing since release. The game has an amazing depth (Professions, Life-skills, killing Mobs, exploring, hiring workers, Training horses, guild wars.), you can choose between many classes, you can edit the appereance of your character in so many ways, the graphics are amazing, very skilled combat-system (key and mouse combinations and combos) and the game-world is very alive. It's World is huge, there are no loading screens, you can basically go wherever you want and explore everything, wether it's the huge desert, the big capitals, the woods and mountains or the islands out in the sea. Many people quit because the thought it is going to be Pay to Win, but it's definitely not.įor the people who dont know the game, BDO is a Sandbox MMO which gives you plenty of options to have fun while playing.
So as I am having an amazing time playing the game again, I am trying to convince people to try the game out as well or return. The reason I am writing this is, because I returned to the game 3 weeks ago, after a break of 8 months and it improved a lot.
